Customer’s Problem:
After a thorough discussion with the client, we came to this conclusion that the client is experiencing the following problems:
- Difficulty in listing their content under different sections of their website due to lack of management of content sequence and visibility from the back-end
- Lack of a membership feature for premium users
- Lack of capability in managing events, webinar, directory, advertisement, and sponsors
- Lack of effectiveness in the existing content search system
- Non-availability of an advanced search feature for filtering content based on multiple criteria
- Having a site with poor design, slow speed and lack of responsiveness
Customer Interaction:
After a thorough discussion with the client, we develop a comprehensive understanding of their problem and understood that their website must have the followings features:
- A user-interface in site back-end from where admin can control the position and order of the article in different sections of the website
- A separate module called “Events” for listing events on their website for the users for promotions
- Membership features for their premium users
- A user interface in the site back-end for adding special articles with standard article listing, highlighting those articles, and management of their respective positions
- An advanced search system in their website to filter content based on different parameters
- An advertisement and sponsors management system in the back-end by using which they can manage their sponsors and advertisements throughout the website
- A user management interface by using which they can manage all the user activity
Solution Offered to Client:
We offer the following solutions to overcome their problems
- Created a new theme and completed its integration with the WordPress templating system
- Created the following modules:
- 'Events' for managing all event-related activities like event creation, event listing, event search, and more
- 'Membership' for managing all membership related activities
- 'Views' for managing the position and display order of the articles in different sections of the website
- 'Sponsors' and 'advertisement' for managing sponsors and advertisements
- A dynamic form module for generating various kinds of forms
- Created an advanced search module to search different type of content like resources, directory, news, and events based on several parameters.
- Make sure the site runs smoothly on a range of devices
