Like every year, the Karmick family came together for our much-anticipated Annual Picnic on February 7th, 2026. With the pleasant winter breeze in the air and the sun shining just right, it was the perfect day to step away from our desks and celebrate together.
Our day started bright and early at 8 AM from the Purbalok office. As we boarded the bus, everyone was ready for a day of fun and relaxation. The journey itself was part of the fun. We enjoyed chocolate cakes, chatted with colleagues, and sang along to our favorite songs. Before we knew it, we had arrived at our destination by 10 AM.
This year’s venue, Banabithi Resort, provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Nestled away from the city’s hustle and bustle, this scenic green paradise surrounded by nature’s beauty offered us the ideal escape. We were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks that set the tone for the day ahead.
As we all know, the unofficial motto of every Karmick picnic is: Come for the team bonding, stay for the incredible food! If there’s one thing we do better than coding solutions, it’s devouring delicious food at our annual picnic!
Breakfast kicked off with authentic Bengali favorites such as crispy peas kachori, flavorful aloor dom, sweet mihidana, and steaming cups of tea and coffee.
Mid-morning snacks featured an irresistible variety: spicy Chicken 65, crispy fish fingers, and golden veg and paneer pakoras that everyone couldn’t stop raving about.
Lunch was a grand affair with a complete Bengali thali that included perfectly cooked rice, dal, crispy aloo bhaja, cauliflower sabji, rich fish curry, and a choice of mutton, chicken, or paneer. The meal was completed with chutney, papad, and the star of the show, nolen gurer roshogolla!
Between the feasting, we enjoyed energetic games like Hit the Wicket and Throw the Ball, which brought out everyone’s competitive spirit and fostered team bonding.
The afternoon brought a delightful surprise as children took center stage to perform beautiful dance routines to Bollywood songs. Their enthusiasm and energy were infectious, and everyone enjoyed the performances.
The most special moment of the day was the awards and recognition ceremony. Our CEO & Founder, Sourav Sir, honored team members with mementos and certificates, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. His inspiring speech reminded us of our collective achievements and the strength of our Karmick family.
He also spoke about the importance of mental health, reminding us that success isn’t just about targets and deliverables, but also about taking care of ourselves. To encourage this, each team member received a beautiful journaling notebook from Karmick, which is a gentle nudge to pause, reflect, and prioritize our mental wellness. It reinforced what makes Karmick special. We measure success not just by milestones achieved, but also by the well-being of every team member.
The atmosphere was electric with music, dance, and non-stop fun. Employees took to the floor with enthusiasm, played games with competitive spirit, and celebrated every moment together. It was beautiful to see everyone step away from their daily routines and simply enjoy the day.
As the day wound down, we gathered for afternoon tea, coffee, and snacks, sharing stories and laughter. Around 6 PM, with hearts full and spirits high, we boarded our bus and headed back home.
The Annual Picnic 2026 was yet another successful chapter in our Karmick Solutions tradition. A day where we celebrated not just as colleagues, but as a family. Here’s to many more such wonderful gatherings!
