On 28th November, 2015, Karmickites came together to celebrate our 16th Annual Day Function! We have turned Sweet Sixteen! 2 years more and we are going to become adults! How cool is that?
On our 16th Annual Day Function, we decided to make it extra sweet. We arranged for different events that catered beautifully to the aesthetics of Karmick Solutions Pvt Ltd.
The program started with the inauguration song – Ei Akash E Amar Mukti” (Rabindra Sangeet) where our very own Tanmoy, Arijit, Reema, Siladitya, Jinia & Sourav came together and lend their melodious voices.
Leading artists of the Tollywood Industry were the Chief Guests for the day who inaugurated the function flanked by our very own and admired CEO Mr Sourav Roy.
We followed up the “lighting of the lamp” with a Bollywood dance on “Chittiyan Kalaiya” song by our very own Shaoni Kabiraj.
Subhankar Banerjee enthralled us with his powerful recitation skills when he recited “Ta se jato e kalo hok..dekhechi tar kalo harin chokh”- by Rabindranath Tagore. He was equally matched by Debadrita Roy Choudhury who fascinated us with her recitation of “Hothat Dekha” by Rabindra Nath Tagore and “Sonar Medal” by Purnendu Patri.
Our SDF Team is no less. They too had lined up a host of performances that notched up the function to another level.
Madhurima, Sushmita, Shreyoshi performed on a medley of Bollywood songs. Arpita mesmerized with her rendition of “Lag ja galey”
The main highlight of the 16th Annual Day Function was the “Sruti Natok” performed by Jhora Mazumdar, Arijit & Subhankar. The theme was “Chor” by Swapan Ganguly!
And finally it was time for the “Fashion Show”. Subhankar, Aman, Sudipta, Arijit, Anand, Sourav, Soumendu, Niraj, Reema, Sangeeta, Jinia, Amrita, Debadrita, Shaoni, Jhora walked the ramp on traditional and western wear.
At Karmick Solutions Pvt Ltd, we believe in recognizing talents and hence felicitate promising performers.
4 awards in the Rising star, 5 Awards in the Star Performer and 1 award in Excellence in Leadership category were awarded to the employees.
All the participants in the various events held throughout the day also received a certificate for their outstanding contribution.
And yes, like every year, lunch was sumptuous. Our management team takes immense pleasure in making sure that all Karmickites and their family members go back home on a full stomach. An array of dishes i.e. Fried Rice, Chicken, aloor dam, salad, ice cream and sweets made sure that it was finger licking good.
To top it all, the day ended with the performance of Silverline Band. Sujoy Bhowmick and Tamghna Ghosh of Zee Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa fame made sure that we danced to their beats.
Like every good event, our Annual Day Function was held together by our very promising “Sutradhars” or Anchors Jhora Mazunder and Arijit Sengupta. They made sure that there was not a single dull moment.
Special thanks to the Mr Subir Roy (Senior Management) Debabrata Ray, Pritam Adhikary and Amrita Ghosh who helped manage the Backstage.
And one cannot forget the contribution of Mrs Sumana Dey and Ms Nawrita Ghosh who stood by us to make sure that everything was in place. – Heartfelt Thanks!
